About the Role

As a Sales Associate, you’ll be the face of IMBY Bikes, helping customers find the perfect bikes, parts, and accessories to enhance their riding experience. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting customers on the sales floor with expert product knowledge and friendly service
  • Processing sales transactions and handling POS systems
  • Maintaining a well-stocked and organized retail floor
  • Staying up to date on new products, services, and industry trends
  • Providing excellent customer service through in-person interactions, phone calls, and emails
  • Supporting the team with additional tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Prior experience in bike sales or retail (preferred)
  • Passion for bikes and the outdoor community
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset

LOCATION:

Located in Fremont village, POCO. Right in between the Fraser Valley and the North Shore, we have access to some of the most amazing trails and scenery in the world.

THE POSITION:

We are looking for experienced mechanics with a true passion for bikes and bike service. You will perform a full range of repairs and service from basic tune-ups to wheel building and suspension service, while always upholding the highest standards.

You will also be involved in training and supporting new mechanics. You must be able to communicate, lead, and give 100% even on the busiest days. It’s essential to have a warm and friendly approach when communicating with people and a drive to help in any way you can. With a new shop, it will be an all-hands-on-deck experience, so flexibility is important.

COMPENSATION:

$25 - $30 / hour (Depending on expirience)

2+ years of professional bike shop experience required

At least 1 years of full suspension service experience required

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Inspect costumers' bicycles and mechanical components to diagnose issues accurately
  • Always prioritize safety by conducting repairs in a diligent fashion
  • Provide support & feedback to other mechanics - help with the training and coaching of staff members
  • Perform 50-hour shock and fork service as well as full damper service

COMPENSATION:

25 - 30$ / hour

Inventory Purchaser

IMBY Bikes is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory Purchaser to help manage our product selection and ensure our customers have access to the best cycling gear available. This role is crucial in maintaining inventory accuracy, sourcing new products, and managing supplier relationships.

About IMBY Bikes

IMBY Bikes is a service-first bike shop specializing in expert repairs, custom wheel builds, and suspension service. Based in British Columbia, we take pride in supporting the local riding community and ensuring every customer has access to top-quality cycling products.

Located in Fremont Village, Port Coquitlam, we’re positioned between some of the best riding destinations in BC, making our shop a hub for passionate riders.

About the Role

We are seeking an Inventory Purchaser to oversee inventory levels, and ensure the timely ordering and delivery of products. This position is vital in keeping our shop well-stocked with the latest cycling components, gear, and accessories. Your responsiblities will also include managing, preapring and shipping orders for our e-commerce store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory levels and track stock movement
  • Source new products and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Ensure timely ordering and delivery of goods
  • Collaborate with the sales and service teams to anticipate product needs
  • Work to improve inventory accuracy and reduce stock shortages or overages
  • Manage online orders, prepare packages, and coordinate shipping

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in inventory management, purchasing, or a related role
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of cycling products and industry trends
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers is an asset
  • Experience with inventory management systems and order processing
